You can turn off Flash Movies in Jaws by hitting insert+v for the
verbosity menu, hitting the letter f three times, hitting the space
bar to change the state and hitting enter to adopt the change for your
current session.

Speaking of that, how does one do that? I haven't, frankly, encountered
a way to do that, as I haven't subscribed to a JAWS list, for quite
awhile and that subject has never come up; although it creates a lot of
problems!

Do you have a simple way to do this?

If you use Jaws, turn off flash and it will be easier to find the search
fields.

Re: comprehensive mp3music site?

2007-05-31 Thread Cornell Ligon

HI John,
When you go to their homepage, just hit f for the search box and type in
your inquiry. With that said, once the page loads with options according to
your search, it’s probably easiest to hit the letter h for headings until
you get to the list of music files, artists or whatever. It’s relatively
easy to use, but a bit much to go through until you get through their
format.
You can also search music according to genre, decades, album, artist and
etc…

HTH.

P.S.
All their files once purchased are your’s to do whatever you want and their
all recorded in 320 kbs, which is supposedly cd quality. You can burn,
transfer or whatever how many times you like, and if for whatever reason the
music files are lost, they keep a history of all your music downloaded so
you can reretrieve the tracks.
You don’t have to join to listen to files, but it may be worth to take
advantage of the free trial period. Their files are the easiest to use via
computer and screenreader than any other site I’ve been to, but because they
have such a large selection, mostly independents, it can be a bit much to
navigate through until you get more acclimated to using the site.

HTH!

Best Regards,
Cornell

Real Music through the Real Player is a pay as you go program. However,
you are restricted in how you can make that music available to cd or
other devices by the burn/transfer options in Real Player.

Audio List Help

Re: comprehensive mp3music site?

2007-05-31 Thread Mac Norins
Speaking of that, how does one do that? I haven't, frankly, encountered a
way to do that, as I haven't subscribed to a JAWS list, for quite awhile and
that subject has never come up; although it creates a lot of problems!

Do you have a simple way to do this?

Regards,

Mac Norins

If you use Jaws, turn off flash and it will be easier to find the search
fields.

I tried emusic.com but I couldn't figure out how to search the site. I
wonder if one has to join before it can be searched?

Re: comprehensive mp3music site?

2007-05-30 Thread Chuck Adkins
No, I was able to search it very well and could preview music too without
joining. We joined it and I loved it but my wife didn't because they didn't
have much she liked. Guess what we don't have anymore

When your married you have to decide to either be right or be happy
