Also,

After sending the huge mp3 file, delete the message in your Outlook Express
sent items folder. that will delete a copy of the file witch got sent off
to your friend, and will free up some space.

just attach it in a email. like you would with a doc fie etc. just make
sure your friend is on broadband otherwise it is going to take forever to
download it at their end. also make sure it is not protected. that means
it
wont play on anyones computer only yours.

Chuck: The way that Richard suggested will work. But here's another way
that's even quicker; first, go to the file you wish to send (do not hit
enter) then go to your file menu, arrow down to where it'll say something
like send to sub-menu, right arrow over to open the submenu..then..arrow
down until you hear mail Recipiant. At this point, hit enter..your
email program should open up; just type in where you want to send it, tab
to
subject (actually I believe the subject may already be there)..if
not..type
it in. Tab to the body; you can then put in whatever message you want to
put in..and then..let her go. Hope this helps.

Re: sending mp3 files

2004-11-28 Thread RQJ
Hi Charles,
You can e-mail the mp3 file as an attachment.
If you are using Outlook Express,
1. open Outlook Express
2. go thru the process as you would for sending mail
3. press, alt I, for file attachment.
4. press enter, and then browse for the folder where the mp3 file is that
you want to send.
5. arrow to the file name, then tab to the attach button, and press enter.
Now when you send your message, the file will go along with it.
Note, this is just a copy of the file, the original stays on the hard drive.
HTH,
Richard Justice

Just attach it to an email or send it over any program like msn or
