Re: trying to find software which will enable me
Hi Ken. I'm running the latest version with no trouble. You can also try it before you buy it to make certain it's what you want. I believe there are a few limitations during the trial period, but you can at least get the feel of the software. Lots of people on this list either use it or have used it, so there should be no shortage of help, if you need it. Hi Dan; Well, that sounds good; *excuse the pun* grin; Do you have any idea where I can buy Goldwave? I wonder if there's any low cost type site for software? Instead of saving to my pc, for transferringfrom cassette ETC., I'd like to put any sounds and music typeof 02 stuff directly to a cd. God wave sounds like fun to run even though I have no experience in transferring but will learn and besides, I'd probably get help on this list. IT's just a matter of hooking up your tape recorder to your sound card's line-in jack, and changing the appropriate settings in your volume control, then you should be able to do it once you have software. Hi Ken, What I'm assuming you want to do here, is record stuff from tapes and put it onto your pC, if you want to go for something relatively inexpensive that'll do the Job, I'd go with GoldWave. IT's just a matter of hooking up your tape recorder to your sound card's line-in jack, and changing the appropriate settings in your volume control, then you should be able to do it once you have software.
