Replay AV question

2008-08-28 Thread Peter Scanlon
I record several programs on Replay AV. With some I find that the resulting
recording is broken up into as many as 10 or 12 files over a 2 or 3 hour show.

I've checked all the settings I can find and thought it might be to do with the
splitting oprion. But it does not.

I have to assume as it only happens with some shows, that it is the stream
quality, dropping out and then re starting.

Is there a way I can get Replay AV to make the file all one file.

and Replay Capture Suite for $99.95. What's everybody actually using?

RE: REPLAY AV QUESTION

2008-04-27 Thread Dean Martineau
Don't buy any of them without using one of the promotional codes which will
save you a goodly chunk of money. Applian has made these available to the
blind community. I put them in Tidbits, so they're in the archive, or ask
when you decide on which product you'll buy and I, or somebody else, can
send you the relevant money-saving code.

The web site lists the programs found in the Capture Suite. One which I
sometimes use is Replay Music, which lets you capture music from many of the
online music sites in such a way that each song is a separate recording,
named with the title and artist. I think the Conversion utility is also a
part of that Suite. I just checked the archive, and the discount codes give
$20 off the Capture Suite and $15 off Replay a/v.

 hello all,
i just upgraded to replay av 8.
 i hitt upon the following:
in replay av 7 i could convert my captured file to mpe with a 192 bitrate.
in the new replay i have more formats but when i select the mp3 format i
 only see:
 128 k bps, 16, 32 and 64.
 i want a higher bitrate than 128.
is there still a way to get that?

well strange, and the suggestion to manually copy the file to the conversion
folder gives the same result.
they have probably dicided that 128 k bps is enough
maybe more bitrate won't help much with a radio stream

2007-11-02 Thread Sunshine
yes, you have to create the file manually and place it in the conversation
folder then restart replay av and it will be in the converting table for you
to choose from

2007-06-14 Thread Chris Skarstad
Hi. When I upgraded some time ago when Replay A/V 8 first came out,
I didn't have to wait very long to get my upgrade info, and it's
possible that if you pay via pay pal, there may be a slight delay or
something. If you don't receive some kind of a response from the
Applian folks within a day or two I would most definitely write them
back and find out what might be going on.
