Replay AV question
I record several programs on Replay AV. With some I find that the resulting recording is broken up into as many as 10 or 12 files over a 2 or 3 hour show. I've checked all the settings I can find and thought it might be to do with the splitting oprion. But it does not. I have to assume as it only happens with some shows, that it is the stream quality, dropping out and then re starting. Is there a way I can get Replay AV to make the file all one file. REPLAY AV QUESTION
Hi Everyone: I went to the Replay AV site to purchase Replay AV. I found one for $49.95, and Replay Capture Suite for $99.95. What's everybody actually using? Don't want to make a wrong purchase, thanks!! RE: REPLAY AV QUESTION
Don't buy any of them without using one of the promotional codes which will save you a goodly chunk of money. Applian has made these available to the blind community. I put them in Tidbits, so they're in the archive, or ask when you decide on which product you'll buy and I, or somebody else, can send you the relevant money-saving code. The web site lists the programs found in the Capture Suite. One which I sometimes use is Replay Music, which lets you capture music from many of the online music sites in such a way that each song is a separate recording, named with the title and artist. I think the Conversion utility is also a part of that Suite. I just checked the archive, and the discount codes give $20 off the Capture Suite and $15 off Replay a/v. Re: replay av question
well strange, and the suggestion to manually copy the file to the conversion folder gives the same result. they have probably dicided that 128 k bps is enough maybe more bitrate won't help much with a radio stream aad On Sat, 3 Nov 2007 08:31:01 -0400, Arthur Barney wrote: Hi Aad, I found the same thing. - Original Message - From: aad leeflang [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Saturday, November 03, 2007 2:28 AM Subject: replay av question hello all, i just upgraded to replay av 8. i hitt upon the following: in replay av 7 i could convert my captured file to mpe with a 192 bitrate. in the new replay i have more formats but when i select the mp3 format i only see: 128 k bps, 16, 32 and 64. i want a higher bitrate than 128. is there still a way to get that? aad Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] __ NOD32 2635 (20071102) Information __ This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. http://www.eset.com Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Re: replay av question
yes, you have to create the file manually and place it in the conversation folder then restart replay av and it will be in the converting table for you to choose from - Original Message - From: aad leeflang [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Saturday, November 03, 2007 1:28 AM Subject: replay av question hello all, i just upgraded to replay av 8. i hitt upon the following: in replay av 7 i could convert my captured file to mpe with a 192 bitrate. in the new replay i have more formats but when i select the mp3 format i only see: 128 k bps, 16, 32 and 64. i want a higher bitrate than 128. is there still a way to get that? aad Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Re: Replay AV question.
Hi. When I upgraded some time ago when Replay A/V 8 first came out, I didn't have to wait very long to get my upgrade info, and it's possible that if you pay via pay pal, there may be a slight delay or something. If you don't receive some kind of a response from the Applian folks within a day or two I would most definitely write them back and find out what might be going on.
