The repeaters are just stations that relay the signal for people who would otherwise not get good satellite coverage. So those of us that would like to see what all speaks and how it sounds and what it all can do. So it can help those of us that might be interested in the purchase of this unit and how difficult was it to get it to talk once you got it home and set up so that you could then use the talking features on this unit? I heard that on the satellite radio for the blind list, forget the info to subscribe, there was a message that was going around about trying to get XM to make something accessible. I don't know what is going with that.
