Total Recorder List
Does anyone know if the Total Recorder list still exists? I was subscribed when they started but haven't seen anything from them for a while. Thanks. The other thing that I'm really disappointed about for this unit, is that they used acapela speech. I mean yes I love acapela, but really, just because other people do it, they just follow along, don't try something else. I mean I just don't get it. But lets wait and see. I am also subscribed, and last year when they bring out the 8.5 update, I didn't got any email to inform me. So I guess its better to just check for updates now and then. Yes, there definitely is a list for Total Recorder users who are blind or visually impaired. It is on Google Groups and the list is closed. If you can find the list owner and request to be subscribed, he will do that for you. But for the life of me, I can't remember his name. There is now an update, which is Total Recorder 8.2 (build 4200). From Colin Howard, who lives near Southampton in Southern England and though down here, Christmas after all this year is likely to be green rathr than white, his favourite news reader on radio 4, Charlotte Green, is off due to a problem with her hip.
