The other day my GoldWave licence expired and I decided to buy a lifetime licence. However, I've now discovered that I'm buying a new laptop in the next couple of days, so I'm wondering how I would be able to: (a) download the programme to my new laptop without paying for another licence, and (b) transfer the current licence from my old laptop to the new one Any help will be gratefully received. Re: Transferring GoldWave Licence
Have you considered writing to the support address on the Goldwave Page? I've always found them particularly helpful, yet another thing I like about that software. Re: Transferring GoldWave Licence
When you get the new laptop download a new copy of Goldwave and install it. Then enter your license information into the Goldwave that you just installed. That should be all that you have to do. Of course if your license has expired you may need to upgrade your license before it will take effect on the new computer. Remember, you have over 3000 keystrokes on Goldwave before you need to license it anyway. So, it may be best to just install the new copy on your laptop, and make sure that you have upgraded your license before entering the license information. - Original Message - From: Dane Trethowan grtd...@internode.on.net To: PC Audio Discussion List pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Tuesday, January 10, 2012 4:18 PM Subject: Re: Transferring GoldWave Licence Have you considered writing to the support address on the Goldwave Page? You just put it on your new computer you should not need to pay for a new licenses. I've had my licenses for almost 7 years. I've put that turkey on several different computers. It is now on two or three different ones. two desktops, and a laptop.
