Using Rockbox in Australia
Hi, Is anyone in Australia using Rockbox? I seem to be having difficulty finding MP3 players in Australia that can run it. I'm concerned, probably needlessly, about purchasing an MP3 player overseas, in case I can't get chargers, etc, that will work in Australia. Re: Using Rockbox in Australia
Ok, have a look at the Iriver H10, I know people use these with Rockbox. I used an Iriver 340 at one time but got rid of this, prefering to use my Nokia mobile phone with talks now. The other advantages of these models are that they can (with a few accessaries) be made to record audio and video from line-out sources. Re: Using Rockbox in Australia
Ok, well I cannot answer your question regarding Rockbox, what I was getting at was that accessaries were now available for Ipods which allowed the connection of audio and video devices so that the Ipod could record directly from those, these accessaries allowed full control of recording whether that be from the Ipod itself or a computer, they've been reviewed in our local newspaper over the last couple of weeks.
