Re: What's the easiest CD burning software?
Windows media Player will allow you to burn cd's and so will winamp. Below are directions for Windows Media. I am getting ready for work or I would write Winamp's directions as weel. 1. Place a blank cd in your cdr drive. 2. When you see/hear "what do you want windows to do", press the letter o followed by tapping enter once. 3. Move to where you have the files you wish to burn to this cd. 4. Select a file you wish to place on the cd and press "control plus the letter c.? 5. Press "alt plus tab" back to the cdr drive window. 6. press "control plus the letter v." You could select all the files in a folder and press "control plus c" if you wish. You do not have to do them one at a time. 7. Once all the files are in the cdr window, press "alt plus the letter f." 8. Press the letter t. 9. Tab to "next" and press enter. 10.Windows Media Player will open. So tab to "copy" and press the spacebar. Do not press space on "copy to cd" or "copy to device." 11. Tab to "next": again and press "enter." When the cd is finished recording, the drive will open. Have a good day. 10. - Original Message ----- From: "Nancy Shackelford" To: "PC Audio Discussion List" Sent: Monday, September 27, 2010 11:50 PM Subject: What's the easiest CD burning software? Re: What's the easiest CD burning software?
Houdy, There's a lot of different fre one's out there. It really depends on what you want. For audio CD and Data CD and DVD creation you can get deep burner from http://www.deepburner.com. For a more advanced program which will create movie DVD's as well you can get tiny burn from http://www.tinyburn.com, however, this program uses a different type of installer and you also have to be careful because it wants to install a ton of additional unnecessary toolbars and bloat ware. Then there is DVD video soft's free studio4.8. This robust 25 program suite is a complete collection of converters, rippers, and burners which are all screen reader friendly. and allow you to do numerous tasks. You can get that one from http://www.dvdvideosoft.com Hope this helps. I had forgotten about Windows Media Player. What if I want to actually put the titles of the tracks in the CD info somewhere? TIA, Nance To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
Re: What's the easiest CD burning software?
Hello Nancy and list: Well..if you do it directly through Windows Media (and I think I have this correct)..by default, it'll put the titles in for you; wait a minute..I'm thinking about "if you rip a CD"..sorry about that!
