Will Switch Convert MOV Files

2014-02-06 Thread Tom Kaufman
Hello List:  I got a file today that I was able to put on the computer;
problem is, the extension is ".mov!" It doesn't play that well; I was going
to try and convert it to an MP3 file. However, Switch doesn't show it! So
does this mean that Switch won't deal with these types of files? I am using
the "non-pay" version on Windows 7-64 bit, with the latest version of Jaws
15.

Hi. I've looked at the file types in the paid for version and it doesn't
list that extention I'm afraid. Walter.

I think you can use quicktime to play those files.

I don't have Quick Time (Windows Media played it) what I wanted to do was to
have Winamp play it! However it wasn't one of the choices I was given! So
then I decided to try and convert it to MP3; that didn't work either!

I just checked my version of Switch, which I bought a couple days ago. Under
video files, mov is listed.

Apparently (with the "non-paid version" you can only do MP3s; it may be that
I have forgotten how to get it to show other options for converting files to
other formats!
