Re: XM Radio Online and Flash 7
I've been playing with Sirius' online player and it is far easier to use. Instead of buttons it has links to each station and the sound quality is excellent. In case you haven't already seen my posts concerning this matter..I have an ancient version of Jaws; Jaws 3.7u..and it absolutely will not work with the player! Therefore..I use "Magic"..but they just really need to make this thing more accessible to those who have to reply on the screenreader! XM Radio Online and Flash 7
Dear List! Recently, just this past Saturday, I signed up for XM Radio's Online Premium Services, giving me access to their music channels. The problem is that the program seems to rely heavily on Macromedia's Flash Player 7 and the play screen and info are all in "Button Form." I use JAWS 5.1 (they recently upgraded to 6.0) and there is not much I can do with the program now. I am able to get JAWS to read some of the button titles and I can use the JAWS curser to find and click on them with the space bar. Now, I heard that Windoweyes has a feature whereby one can rename or re-order certain graphics into buttons that are readable by the program. If anyone is using the XM Radio Online service, do let me know how it works and whether or not there are easy approaches to navigating through the menus and invoking them. Thanks in advance for your help. James Robinson ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
