audio help files for MP3DirectCut

2004-11-09 Thread Rob
Hi,
I may not be a good speaker, but some of you needed help, so I created audio
help files for useing the MP3 Direct Cut Program.
I hope that it helps you to get a better understanding of useing some basic
functions.
download the zip folder of mp3 files below.

"Connect your telephone to your cable or DSL Modem & make unlimited calls to the US
& Canada for $20 per month."
Thanks,

Hi Rob,
Thank you for the help files!
You spoke fine throughout the files, and best of all you kept them direct,
and to the point.
Much better than other audio tutorials I have heard,
where the speaker was too verbose.

Hi Rob,

I just wanted to say what a great job you did with the first part of your
MP3 Direct Cut audio help files. I'm now downloading part 2 of the set.

Thank you for taking the time to create these files.

BTW, you mentioned scripts. Are there scripts for this program and Jaws
available for download?

Hi,
You do not need the scripts.
with scripts, alt+R will record
but you can press R then P to record without scripts.
with scripts, ctrl+S saves file.
without scripts you can use ctrl+W
If you still want them, email me at

I would like to thank all of you for your praises on the help files.
I really appreciate it!

Hello, you should let Dave Williams know at ACBRadio.org and see if he will
include this in a Main Menu program as an ongoing series. E-mail

Since you've already split it up into sections, he may be able to run a
segment a week or something like that.
Thanks a lot.

Re[2]: audio help files for MP3DirectCut

2004-11-10 Thread djc
Thanks Rob for an excellent Job. I'd like to explain that once and a while
you may run in to a strange problem with mp3 direct cut. Have you heard an
mp3 that has a loud tick at the beginning of the file? I had one this
morning and mp3 direct cut refused to play the file. I could page up and
down but I couldn't fix this file with mp3 direct cut as the loud tick was
stopping the file from playing. It ticked and then there was a second and
the music would start but mp3 direct cut couldn't fix it so I had to take
it in to Sound Forge and fix it their. Mp3 Direct cut is a fine editor but
I would use it in conjunction with your other editing tools.

It seems like MP3DirectCut does have trouble with CRC errors in some files.
This is one drawback in my opinion. I hope the author will put in the
ability to repair errs soon.

Hey Bobcat, why don't you email the author, Martin, & ask about these
errors?
His email address is in the FAQ file within the Mp3DirectCut folder.
.
Thanks, Harry Bassler
