2005-05-16 Thread Kevin Lloyd
Merging tracks when ripping with CDEX

1.. Start CDEX and load the audio CD.
2.. Press tab until you reach the list of tracks.
3.. Use the down arrow key until you reach the tracks you wish to merge
together.
4.. Use shift + down arrow to select the tracks to be merged.
5.. Press function key F10 to open the "select a section of the CD to
extract" dialogue
6.. Enter the file name for the resulting merged file in the edit field
provided.
7.. Press tab repeatedly until you reach the ok button and press enter to
start the rip.

Re: joining several mp3s in to 1 file??

2005-05-13 Thread Matthew Bullis
This program I talked about to join .wav files will also join mp3 files.
It's from
www.Splitter-Joiner.com
It's $20, and I just registered my copy yesterday, since I have a lot of
concerts in .wav files that I have to join into one long .wav file. You can
do ten joinings before you have to register, so download it and get used to
the program first. Hint: you'll have to use your Jaws cursor and left click
on the word Add for Add Files, which happens on the first screen after you
close the register screen.
Thanks a lot.

No, CDEX can't join MP3 files on your hard drive. It can only join the
files when they are being ripped from CD

Hi Juan.
If you have the CD and those tracks are contiguous then you can use CDEX
to
rip them into a single track. Simply select the tracks you want to be
joined and then use function key F11 to start the rip rather than the
usual
F8 or F9.

Regards.
