Re: how do you play mp3 audio books?
Oh, I do use my laptop for reading books. I just put them in a folder and name them starting with the 01, 02 etc. Then I use Winamp to play them all by selecting using shift plus ctrl plus end to make sure the tracks are played from top to bottom. However, the ability to start where I left off has been difficult in the past. However, I hear that the new winamp allows for bookmarking whick I am going to try sometime this next week. This would allow for returning to the last place read iin a book. - Original Message - From: "Brian Olesen" To: "PC Audio Discussion List" Sent: Tuesday, December 29, 2009 7:59 PM Subject: Re: how do you play mp3 audio books? hi dan, oh yes. Re: Playing mp3 audio books on a pocket pc
Hi Jeff! I don't know the exact answer to your question, but your wife might want to try the GS player for the pocket PC. It can be obtained from the downloads section of pacmategear.com. It may have a bookmark feature, but I'm not sure since I just installed it. It's great for blind and sighted people because all of the options are available through the menus. Give it a try. Good luck! Allison ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Re: Playing mp3 audio books on a pocket pc
Believe it or not, there are other players. I do not know the URL for this one, but you can get GS player, which automatically bookmarks if you will the spot where you stop the audio file. It also plays and streams Ogg Vorbis, and does in fact stream mp3...Yes, it can be done on a Pac Mate.
