Re: n-Track Studio 6.0.1 Released
I just want to throw in that I love this program or did way back when. It has keyboard shortcuts for each track so you can pan, volume, effect, or whatever on each individual track all at the same time. thanks bb - Original Message - From: Rays Home [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: PC Audio Discussion List pc-audio@pc-audio.org Sent: Monday, October 27, 2008 12:56 PM Subject: Re: n-Track Studio 6.0.1 Released This is interesting as I've often wanted to use multi-track laydown to get a more layered effect, albeit for predominantly documentary-type work. My question: Is it rather tedious to work with multiple track mix-down without the benefit of something like a control surface? I mean, how do you actually do the mixdown to a stereo master? I've just never needed anything else. Unless he has added the ability in there somewhere to perform mute and trimming operations in there, I just record what I need and mute breaths or other extraneous noises with Sound Forge, mix the track down, and then go back into Sound Forge to trim out the stuff before the song starts. I did a review on Main Menu when I first got the program, and so if you haven't heard that, you could get a feel for the program for anyone who hasn't tried this application. The developer is from Italy, and though English is not his first language, he converses well, and is very receptive to suggestions about accessibility from visually impaired users. I believe there may still be a link from his page to the review on Main Menu. Thanks a lot. Re: n-Track Studio 6.0.1 Released
I wish soundforge and other applications could do this. the ability to record tracks in realtime, and mix them, and operate on them just is so exelent! Yes, I know, one can copy and paste in gw or sf, but it's not the same at all. On Sun, 26 Oct 2008 22:55:37 -, you wrote: hi can someone tell me what does ntracks du, and how much is it? It gives you the capability that other programs like Sound Forge and Gold Wave do not have--namely, to record multiple tracks, one at a time, then mix them together into a single program.
