Hello, I really haven't found a way to mark sections of a file or delete
them, nor to line up sections. I use Sound Forge to mute the parts of tracks
I don't want. Perhaps if you e-mailed the author and told him that other
blind users are enjoying the program, then he would be willing to implement
a build with certain keystrokes. The easiest would be to use the standard
Windows selection commands. For instance, to delete everything before the
cursor, he could use control shift home and then delete, and control shift
end and then delete to delete after the cursor. He is very responsive, so
let him know the problems you're having, and see if he will work on them.
He's made special builds for me and retained the changes once I told him
that they worked, but I think he'd like to hear from someone other than
myself in the blind community.
Thanks a lot.
Matthew

2005-07-29 Thread Matthew Bullis
Hello, well you can decide for yourself after you hear my review on
www.ACBRadio.org
then go to on demand, then main menu, and search for my name down the huge
page. Click on the show date, and use B to skip to my segment. It reviews
the program as it was about three years ago, but it hasn't changed too
drastically. I worked with the author a few months ago to get the current
version back to it's former accessibility, so that it could be a viable
multi-track solution for the blind community.
Thanks a lot.

Re: n-track - what is it?

2005-07-29 Thread Dave Marthouse
Matthew,

I have two questions regarding n-track. How do you mark a file or a part of
a file for editing? In addition is there a speech-friendly method to move
the position of one wav file in relation to another on different tracks?

n-track - what is it?

2005-07-28 Thread Andrea Sherry
Is it the same as Cakewalk?
Does it complement a good sound editor like Soundforge or Audition?
I notice that on the Betanews site N-track has received a fairly average
rating-approx 3 out of 5. So is it worth the money?
Cheers

N-Tracks accessibility, RE: n-track - what is it?

2005-07-28 Thread John Sanfilippo
Hello,

My name is John Sanfilippo and I'm interested in multitrack recording.
I have a registered Ntracks program and am interested to know if there
are other users out there who get it working with Jaws or Window Eyes.
I'm using jaws and have had little luck with it so far.

I also share interest with another user who asked about the
accessibility of Audacity.

Help appreciated,
Js
