no speech after installing totalrecorder 8.1

so as soon as I did the required re-boot after installing total 
recording, now my jaws does not come up, anyone know whats going 
on?

Good evening, Dan and all.
There may be a conflict between JAWS and the video attributes of the wave 
form in Total Recorder. When I first began working with GoldWave JAWS would 
cause the computer to crash after about 20 minutes or so of record or 
playback. I finally resolved the problem by setting the video attributes to 
the "blank" position in user control preferences on the advice of Rick 
Harmon, developer and host of "The Blind Geek Zone." . I have had no prior 
contact with Total Recorder but I would not be surprised if there isn't a 
very similar cause and solution for the problem. I wish you the best of luck 
as I have experienced the frustration first hand when trying to produce a 
good audio file.
