Re: passive speaker for Eloquence

2009-02-02 Thread Bobcat
Hi Robert. I was wondering about getting a usb powered speaker that wasn't
also a sound card. Guess I could just get a full usb speak and disable my
on board sound card to free up resources.

Again. Just looking for a simple small solution for speech and system sound
output.

BTW: I am trying out some Creative t10 powered speakers. Darn good for the
price but to good for Eloquence. They just have to much bass.

unfortunately I no longer have them but I use to have a set of speakers
that were powered by the usb port.

Looking for suggestions for a passive speaker for my computer. I want a
speaker that will sound good with Eloquence, not to much bass and clear.
I

want a passive speaker to reduce cables that would always be on.

I got some cheep speakers but they weren't loud enough, even at full
volume

with the sound card I use for speech . Perhaps passive speakers will not
work with this card.

I tried some powered speakers but they tend to have to much bass, making
Eloquence sound muddy. Maybe there are some active pc speakers that would
sound better with Eloquence if I can't find a passive model.

the speakers I had were not part of a soundcard they were stand alone. They
were powered by the USB port and an audio cable connected to the line out on
your sound card.
