Re: Radio Netscape

2004-08-10 Thread Jessica
I have it, and eventually took it off my hard drive, because I could do
nothing with it. You have to use the jaws curser to navigate through
everything, and even then, you can't always garantee you'll have selected
the channel you wanted.
My best reccomendation to you, would be the spinamp plugin; it's easier to
use, and accesses a lot of those same stations, as well as some of a couple
from aol radio, and you have a pretty big selection.

 Hi,
Radio Netscape, formally Spinner, was reasonably accessible for a while,
but seems to have changed and is now impossible to use.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to use it. Choose channels, etc.

It never says so in the documentation file, but I'm about 95 percent
sure
that that auto find in quickmx's menu is to tell it how many searches
to
perform at once, not to tell it how often to search. It does say that
quickmx is continuously searching, so there's no need to tell it how
often
to search. I went and reduced that number to 1 and my downloads
pretty
  much
dried up, so I changed back to 10.

 Hi

Not as far as I know, but I will go and check again.

In the meantime - I still have some problems in working with
QuickMX.
When
I go to the set auto find resource limit sub menu, I get values from
one
to
ten and not an unlimited value. Also, when I set it on one for
example,
it
does not change the value in the download list.

 Regards

 Andre

Sorry if this would be considered a cross-post, but have they come
out
with
a version of quickmx for the later version of winmx yet? I know
they
  were
in the process of developing it the last time I checked, but haven't
gone
 back to check yet.

   Hi all

I have some problems using quick mx with WinMX. When I load
   QuickMX,
it
seems to mess up the downloads list view. It keeps on
   repeating
   the
  first
song and says it is not selected. So it seems to make WinMX
completely
unusable. Has anyone had this problem before?

radio netscape

2004-07-10 Thread Terra Syslo
Does anyone on this list use netscape radio with Jaws 5.0, and are there any
tips you can give me for being able to select stations? If it is anything
like Spinner was, it has some types of music that I am looking for and have
trouble finding on other sites. Thanks.
