RE: using switch
Hi Evan and don These aren't toolbars that switch installs when you install the program but say you are converting a folder with many files in it and some of them are avi, some are mp3 and you are converting avi to mp3 and then lowering the bit rate of the mp3 files, switch seems to pick and install different converters as it goes along, it will use different converters for different file types. using switch
Hi I have a couple of questions regarding switch. I am using the full version of switch, is there any way to minimise the program to the system tray when you are running a long job and why does switch keep installing add-ons, for example, I have just had to restart my pc after switch reinstalled the roxio sin player, it does this all the time, I like switch but it can be a bit of a pain. Update On Using Switch
Hi List: Thought you'd all like to know that I'm having better luck with the "Switch" program..thanks to John! the "F3" does work..but now I've discovered much to my dismay that none of the buttons will work! All I did was to maximize the program (maybe I shouldn't have done that)..anyhow..now, if I hit "enter" on anything..nothing happens (it did before)..so how do I fix this? RE: re using switch
Hi, Brian. Odd. I went into the options dialog and I tabbed to that particular field and I then pressed down arrow I think, until I got to 192. There was one radio button which I think was set to a nonvariable bit rate, but that was probably because I hadn't highlighted a file yet. I just installed it last night; so I am not super familiar with it quite yet. I have lots of questions myself; so wouldn't mind talking with other users as well. -Original Message- From: pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of brian parker Sent: Friday, February 06, 2009 10:40 AM To: pc-audio@pc-audio.org Subject: re using switch Hi paul, okay, but how did you change it from 28 to 92. mine is stuck on48, and i don't know what to do. brian. Hi. It appears to be in the options dialog, although I have just started using this program myself. I did find it and change it from 28 to 92 kbps. -Original Message- From: pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of brian parker Sent: Friday, February 06, 2009 8:00 AM To: pc-audio@pc-audio.org Subject: using switch Hi list, can someone using switch, tell me how to choose what rates that one wants in doing a convertion. brian.
