Re: [PD-dev] VASP issues (again)

2006-09-28 Thread Michal Seta
Hi Thomas,

Ok, since my last message I decided to install a new OS from 0, as if
I had nothing better to do (Ubuntu Dapper this time).

This time I am running pd-extended variety (compiled from source). vasp
resides in /usr/local/lib/pd/extra:

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ ls -l /usr/local/lib/pd/extra/vasp.pd_linux
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 750060 2006-09-28 09:09

Still getting the same behaviour (i.e. vasp library loads):
-
   VASP modular 0.1.4pre
   vector assembling signal processor
   (C)2002-2005 Thomas Grill

  http://g.org/ext

and then, I tried to create [vasp.*] and got this (-verbose on, as
requested):

Hi Michal,
that's not really enough information... what does it say with -verbose
set?

greetings,
Thomas

Hello all, hello Thomas,

I have been having problems with vasp again.
I tried it with the head CVS pd version as well as 0.39-2 (extended
variety) and 0.39-2-4 (ggee build).

Essentially what happens is that VASP loads fine but I cannot
instantiate any of the classes, i.e.

[vasp.*] generates the error
 vasp.*
... couldn't create

It's a 0.1.4pre version (CVS)
This is on a Debian Etch, gcc3.4 was used.
