How did it work out?

i commited everything that needed to be changed :-)
this collection feet my need, but i think it's quite logical :-)
(ok, i still have few things to clean and commit)
i would like a autocal object with a start ans stop callibration feature. do
you think i can add this to the curent autocal object?
i also would like a an dynacal (dynamic calibration) object that take maximum

i fink few abstraction could be turn into external for performance isue, but
that's optional.

I have an instrument design that I'll be working

How many cameras did you use to track the motion, and what was their

now that regular arrays and data structures are more

You can try scale/adaptive from the pdmtl abstractions:
http://wiki.dataflow.ws/pdmtlabs
It is an autoscale than tightens over time.
It was previously known as powerranger.

Re: [PD] Pduino 0.2 test crash

2006-12-20 Thread David NG McCallum

I had the same problem, and banged my head on my desk for an hour
trying to figure it out until I just tried pduino 0.1 and it worked.
:-/

I couldn't find any arduino files in the extended version that I'm
using (to delete, as you suggested). Since I've been embroiled in the
pd on mactel fiasco of late, I have more versions of pd-extended on my
computer than I can count, so I couldn't tell you which one I looked
in (a recent one, at least).

But I did just try creating an [arduino] object in several of the
extended versions I have and it doesn't instantiate, which makes me
believe that there are no arduino files within the extended packages
that I have. or something…

When I look at the comport output with pduino 0.2, the arduino's
spitting out numbers that are all 256, which it doesn't do with
pduino 0.1. Is the problem w/ the firmware?

D!

On 30/11/06, Hans-Christoph Steiner [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

My guess is that the problem is because that Pd is loading [arduino] that's
included in the test5 package. Try deleting the arduino files from the Pd
distribution, then using Pduino. Or you could try using one of the nightly
builds:

But it shouldn't crash, that's odd.

We all uploaded Pduino 0.2 firmware to the board and then we run 0.2
arduino-test.pd under Pd extended test5.
Nobody was able to interface arduino under four different OS.
We all were able to connect to the serial port. We tried to set a LED on in
Arduino pin 13. When we pushed serial data to the board the RX LED was on
but the pin 13 LED was still off and the same with the other digital or
analog pins.

We then tried Pduino 0.1 and it worked.

Yeah, I'm not sure what that is - might be a bug introduced when I
changed something else. But the abstraction seems to work for me - does
it work for you?

the track is good! but was the link between the grid and the music?

Cheers!

In that track the CA is controlling:
1. The spectrum of the high hat sound.
2. The sum of the sines of the chord sound and their rhythm.
3. The 'solo' instrument that comes in (sinesum and rhythm).
4. The bassdrum rhythm.

It was a fun collaboration and the best sounding one out of three (the
other two sounded pretty awful). I've attached the patch, which requires
most of the abstractions in my collection to run.

Best,

Chris.

Hi List !

I am checking out the OS X installers and run into several

I get the error for example with xsample~

Yup, someone needs to build a universal version. The flext-based
externals are not part of the Pd-extended build system. PowerPC
binaries from Thomas Grill's site are included.

And another thing i am not quite sure of..

Which libraries shoud i include in tthe startup ? Where should the
path-variable point to

What ever libraries you want to use. If you don't want to think
about libraries, just use the included .plist preferences file
(directions in the README).

Re: [PD] gem, text

That's not good. Any Gem devs want to shed some light on this one?
Is there something missing in the Pd-extended Gem building setup?

./configure seems to not find anything:

 used optional libraries:

  font-rendering :

I think this was a case of code that wasn't in Fink. How about
adding it to GemLibs?
