Re: [PD] Pd-0.39.2-extended-test7-windowsxp missing objects
Hola Ruben, You could check to see if the .dll files for those objects are really missing or not. If they exist in the pd/extra folder of the 0.39 version, then it's possible your settings are incorrect. Note, they could also be in a subfolder of pd/extra. Best to use whatever Windows has for a find/locate command to see where moog~.dll is located... If they don't exist in the pd/extra folder of the 0.39 version, you could copy them over from the 0.38 version. I do this with the OS X extended releases all the time when I see something's missing. good luck, d. ruben patiño wrote: hi list because i had some problems on graph on parent i just downloaded the latest extended version for windows. 0.39.2 iŽve just followed the installation instructions but after all i miss objects like moog~ o freeverb~ i had on the 0.38 version. thanks a lot r. -- derek holzer ::: http://www.umatic.nl ---Oblique Strategy # 127: Openly resist change ___ PD-list@iem.at mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management - http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list

[PD] Sorta OT - More touring
Hi everybody I really hope these notes aren't a drag for anybody - it's always such a blast to meet up with Pders in distant lands. Again, I got super-lucky and I'm doing some more touring, this time with a really cool indie pop band. In April we'll be in London, Brighton, Paris, Berlin and Vienna. In May and June we're doing North America and sometime in July/August we're spending a short time in Japan and Australia, but no specific dates for those yet. The reason this is only sorta OT is that until I'm told to smarten up, I'm actually using Pd on stage for this one - nothing fancy, just a couple of synths and some effects. Anybody want to meet for a beer/coffee? I'll put more schedule details here in a couple of days: www.sideshowmedia.ca/tourdates.html cheers dafydd -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] skype: chickeninthegrass ___ PD-list@iem.at mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management - http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list
[PD] Pd-0.39.2-extended-test7-windowsxp missing objects
i suppose [moog~] is in ggee there too? with my latest ext download (autobuild 0.40.2, 18 march) i had the same with [moog~] and other ggee objects. adding the path to the prefs file (i did in an xml editor) solved it. for me, in 0.40.2 from miller's site, with the externals and an edited prefs from the autobuild, [freeverb~] has no problems. it's specified in the 'binaries to be loaded' as well as (its path) in the path-section of the prefs, though i only see them in an xml editor, accessed through pd i don't see everything that's there. too few lines, i don't know. maybe a pd-ext prefs feature, i suppose you could work around it by writing your own and using the ':' trick to use one line for several preferences. hope this helps, robbert -- Pd-0.40.2 vanilla with externals edited prefs from pd-ext-0.40.2 autobuild 18/3 mac osx 10.4.8, 15 G4 PB 1.67 GHz, 1 GB ram ruben pati?o [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: moog~ o freeverb~ i had on the 0.38 version. ___ PD-list@iem.at mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management - http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list

I would love to be able to use gcanvas for GoP objects. But it doesn't seem to work with GoP. It's very handy to put a gcanvas behind something like an array to get the click data.
