Thanks Dan!

It worked so far with the help patch! Now I have just to see how it’s going
with several iPads…
Thanks again!

[PD] MobMuPlat - data from several iPads to one PC

2014-05-02 Thread Christian Fischer
Hi there,

not sure whether I can make out the forest for the trees after x hours of
fiddling…

What would be the best way to send data (one way) from several iPads to one
master patch on PC, connected adhoc wireless?

So far I tried only with one iPad, used MobMuPlat and simple ‚netsend' /
‚netreceive'. For one iPad it worked pretty fine! Now I wonder what about
several iPads. Can’t test before Monday, but I would like to prepare everything
before…

The idea is several people use the iPads as interfaces to manipulate a master
patch on a PC connected to interface, several speakers etc…
They do not have to get any feedback from master patch. Data flows only one
way.

MobMuPlat does not take ‚packOSC‘. Would ‚LANdini‘ be better for several iPads
(could not get it running so far. still trying…) Or is there something else?
Any experiences?

Thanx & Best!

[PD] PD on Raspbian

2014-03-19 Thread Christian Fischer
Hi everyone,

two (beginner) questions regarding Pd-extended 0.43.3 on Rpi Raspbian Wheezy:

- There is an I/O error message in the Pd window as there is only an audio out
(but no in) on the Rpi. Just deactivating the inlet in Pd audio settings
doesn’t help. ALSA is used by default. What can be done to avoid error message?
However sound out works fine.

- When opening a new Pd window (ctrl+n), it pops up so high in the bottom left
corner of the screen, that you can not see the menu anymore. Therefore the
window is not moveable or usable. Used Pd already on various PCs and OS but
this I have never experienced. What can be done?

Thanks!

Re: [PD] An infinite number of acid + breakbeat loops + wii

2009-09-27 Thread Christian Fischer

Hi,

this is a nice patch! Had a lot of fun with it over the weekend.

Now I would like to connect your patch to a Wii controller and try
how it works...

There should be a wiimidi object or something like, that.
How is the libary called? Where to download?

Im not that deep into PD yet, so maybe someone can help me out?

Thanx!

Hi *,

Procedurally generated breakbeat + acid loops for your pleasure:

Run 0_START.pd, open up the volume + filter a bit, and then hit the
big red
button as often as you like. Press the green toggle to get beats.
Watch out for
feedback if your mic is turned up. I find about 1 out of 5 loops are
quite
pleasant to listen to, and then every now and then something truly
genius turns

up.

Chris.

[PD] DSP override - freeverb~

2008-11-17 Thread Christian Fischer
hi there,

i use the 'freeverb~' object for reveberation in a small soundfile
player patch.
it seems that freeverb~ causes a dsp overflow at some point. i cant
figure out when or
why the dsp starts filling up to 170%. its allways different...
anybody had this problem, too? could it be using the 'freeze' message?

thx! cmf
