Cyrille This is exactly why we now have GUI plugins. You could easily add the Clear button to your own custom Pd window, or change the key bindings. i use pd on a lot's of computer. most of them are not mine. if i add a plug-in on my computer, it will be more frustrating that things don't work like i wish 50% of the time, since i don't change configuration of others computers. well, that's easy to change with a gui-plugin:
just puts this line in a file called "clear_console_shortcut.tcl" (or
whatever name you like) and put the file in your pd path:
bind all <$::modifier-Shift-Key-X> {menu_clear_console}
and bingo, MOD+SHIFT+X clears the console =)
