well, there is a [mtx_./]

since there is no division defined for matrices, there is no [mtx_/].

the help-file might be a good starting point to get the differences
between all these objects.

in general, mtx-operations with a dot in the name (e.g. [mtx_.^]) work
on the elements of the matrix whereas operations without a dot work on
entire matrices. (this follows the matlab/octave conventions)

Hallo Marius!

hm ... I don't think so - just use mul !

This is like in octave/matlab: .* means element wise multiplication, *
means matrix multiplication.

e.g.:
[ a ] * [ b ] = a*b + c*d
[ c ] [ d ]

[ a ] .* [ b ] = [ a*b ]
[ c ][ d ][ c*d ]

Hi,
just a short question about iemmatrix: is there a mtx_div? at least in
pd-ext I cannot find it. and what is the difference between mtx_* and
mtx_.*? or does mtx_* just not work with two matrices?
