[PD] splitfilename length problem
hi list! i have a problem with iem-lib (r 1.15 (the most recent one, i hope)) splitfilename: names wich are exactly 76 characters long cause pd to freeze (see attached example). is this a known/fixed bug? i could not find anything in the archive or on the net. and is there a workaround (or an alternative to splitfilename)? (other than finding out the symbols length and adding a whitespace if its 76 ;) (in my case i need splitfilename only for displaying sample names)) bis denn! martin ___ PD-list@iem.at mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management - http://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list

That's a new one for me, sounds pretty crazy. Please file a bug report with a patch that reproduces it. .hc On May 15, 2008, at 12:39 PM, martin brinkmann wrote: hi list! i have a problem with iem-lib (r 1.15 (the most recent one, i hope)) splitfilename: names wich are exactly 76 characters long cause pd to freeze (see attached example). is this a known/fixed bug? i could not find anything in the archive or on the net. and is there a workaround (or an alternative to splitfilename)?
