Re: [PD] pd~ binary for max/msp - version 0.5 released

2020-09-08 Thread Christof Ressi

It's just changing pd.com to pd.exe in the pd~ code
It might be nice to have an option to choose between both behaviors
(with/without console). Often the console window is annoying, but
sometimes it's very useful for debugging!

Nonetheless, there's a new typo for the 0.51-2 notes: "annoya*m*ce" - which
may not be intentional :)

[PD] [PD-announce] pd 0.51-2 released (updates to pd~ object)

To Pd-announce:

Pd version 0.51-2 is available on http://msp.ucsd.edu/software.htm or
via github. Updates to the pd~ object, particularly fixing problems when there
is white space in the path to pd (as in "Program Files"). The pd~ object is
now also working in Max/MSP.

It's working on max 6, windows 7.
But: when I run with -nogui, the command window still appears. Is there a
way to avoid it that I never knew about?
