This isn't actually the point of sending a test patch... it's to help *other* 
people on *other systems* check that GEM itself is not broken *and* to 
double-check how you are using the objects & commands. Making a separate, 
minimal patch also isolates one problem form what could be other problems of 
usage, ie. layers of GL commands which might affect each other.

I agree with Cyril that a minimal patch would have been helpful. In any case, 
good luck.

Cyrille,

thanks for your answer. I have not seen the sense to send a simple patch as
it would not show the behaviour of the rendered Gem window under wsl2.
Anyway, I have to use both Windows and subsystem Linux as on Windows does
not work the shell or command objects while under Linux the above mentioned
[width( command to the 2d shape objects such as triangle, rectangle or
circle.
