Re: [PD] any pitch synchronous granulator external?

2015-02-12 Thread Jamie Bullock

Hi Pat,

Øyvind Brandtsegg's Partikkel FLTK used to be good fun. Built on top of CSound:
http://oeyvind.teks.no/results/applications/partikkelapplications.htm#_partikkelFLTK

It seems to have developed into Hadron–a VST / AU plugin, since I last tried
it: http://www.partikkelaudio.com

Might be worth a look...

Maybe Granita might be of interest. It is neither an extern nor
abstraction, gut the dsp part can be easily separted from the GUI.
It is Pd-vanilla compatible, so - although I never tested it on osx - I
think it should work: https://gitorious.org/granita

For syncronous granulation just leave the Speed and Duration controls
linked (i.e. min and max always the same..)

There is also a small demo video on vimeo: http://vimeo.com/36609964

Hope this helps.
Lorenzo.

Re: [PD] any pitch synchronous granulator external?

2015-02-10 Thread Gilberto Agostinho

Hi Josep,

Perheps you could give [disis_munger~] a try, which is an object by
Ivica Ico from Pd-l2Ork. It is an improved version of the original
[munger~] by PeRColate. The problem is the only link I know with
compiled versions of it for pd-extended does not contain an OS X
compiled external (nor a 64-bit Linux external).

This object is also included in Pd-l2Ork, and you can find the code in
the following link:
https://github.com/pd-l2ork/pd/tree/master/l2ork_addons/disis_munger

So perhaps it is possible to compile it for Pd-extended. Would anyone
know if this is possible and how to do it?

Best,
Gilberto

PS: I am sorry for double posting, I forgot to change the subject on my
last message, so I am resending this with the correct subject to keep it
in the same thread. Sorry :(
