Re: [PD] pd 0.48 test5 windows : pd~ subprocess
Yep, I'm getting it too. Thanks for flagging this one - it's a real show stopper. It turns out to be 2 bugs, one was easyt to find, but the other one I'm still looking for. cheers Miller On Mon, Jul 31, 2017 at 09:40:52PM +, Lucas Cordiviola wrote: > I can confirm the same troubles with [pd~] on pd-0.48-0test6.zip and > also on win8.1. > > [pd~] is working ok on this machine with 0.47.1. > > > Mensaje telepatico asistido por maquinas. > > On 7/31/2017 5:25 PM, Jean-Yves Gratius wrote: > > Hello, > > > > finally, i tested pd-0.48-0test5b.msw (windows 8.1) and on my > > computer it seems that pd~ (subprocess) doesn't work. Re: [PD] pd 0.48 test5 windows : pd~ subprocess
I can confirm the same troubles with [pd~] on pd-0.48-0test6.zip and also on win8.1. [pd~] is working ok on this machine with 0.47.1. Mensaje telepatico asistido por maquinas. [PD] pd 0.48 test5 windows : pd~ subprocess
Hello, finally, i tested pd-0.48-0test5b.msw (windows 8.1) and on my computer it seems that pd~ (subprocess) doesn't work. (it works on pd 0.47.1) - opening file extra/pd~/pd~-help.pd OK - starting the subprocess OK - pd-subprocess receives messages (foo bar baz( from main process OK but - sending signal to subprocess (by checking the boxes below [osc~ 440] in pd~-help) makes the subprocess crash and the main process freeze - pd~-help.pd doesnt receive subprocess messagse [a b c( etc... - sending signal from subprocess to main process (by checking the boxes below [osc~ 440] in pd~-subprocess) create erratic values in main process (1.#INF or 1.QNAN after [env~ 8192] box) ___ Pd-list@lists.iem.at mailing list UNSUBSCRIBE and account-management -> https://lists.puredata.info/listinfo/pd-list
