Hi, upon wanting to open the help patch for [*~] I am getting the error
 message
sorry, couldn't find help patch for "sigbinops.pd"
and indeed, the help patch got renamed to binops-tilde-help.pd

I am on Debian with puredata-doc 0.52.2+ds0-1~bpo11+1 from
 bullseye-backports

yup, many were renamed, I was aware and made the changes. I guess I meant
to "replace all" in d_arithmetic and only replaced one. I'm checking if I
missed others.

The help file name for those objects are hardcoded in src/d_arithmetic and need
to be updated.

@Alex Are there other objects which were renamed in the doc overhaul?

Re: [PD] help patch for [*~] not found (renamed)

2022-05-22 Thread Alexandre Torres Porres
fixed, while we're at it, I think that the error message is wrong as it
always assumes it is an abstraction, such as "sigbinops*.pd*"

It seems we should drop the ".pd" from the warning so it relates to an
object that can be either an abstraction or a compiled object.
