Didn't do too much on the gluttony front - coffee & an English Muffin
for breakfast; a modest feast about 4:00 and some ice cream after my nap.

Made some more progress in the kitchen, mostly moving appliances so I
can get to the next area where I need to tear out the floor. At the rate
it's going, I think I might be ready to start hanging drywall later next
week. Might have kitchen (base) cabinets & a counter with functional
plumbing again by Christmas.

So this Thanksgiving, in addition to health & having enough to eat & a
roof over my head, I'm thankful for power tools.

This morning there were birds outside my kitchen window - a Downy
Woodpecker (I think**) & several assorted Mocking Birds & Wrens & Finches.

Couldn't get to my camera in time, so you'll have to use your imaginations.

I'm also thankful for music on YouTube. I've got my computer speakers
aimed at the kitchen door so I can listen while I'm working.

Eating biscuits in bed isn't a very good idea either, especially if you're 
naked. The crumbs find all the crevices. Cheese is ok.

Thanks Mike, you are right if the mechanical shutter would be used for 
video, but I would expect the that The K1 uses the electronic shutter, 
is that not the case?

8mm (both Standard and Super) is not exactly going to the pinnacle of
filmmaking quality. If it's just a cheap and cheerful method you're
looking for, it'll do just fine.
