I took an image of the old man of the mountain at about the same time, from the little area at the pond. I also am having trouble finding the original image. First the ancient face slides right off the mountain, then we both misplace our images; Seems like a bit of witchcraft up there in New England. Peeled the sticker on the swollen contact side and rubbed it down on an Emery Sheet. Put it inside the K-5, and voila the camera showed Full Charge and it was working. Better sense got hold of me and I scrapped this 3rd Party 3-year old battery. Had won it on an evil bay bid for $ 3.99. Lesson learnt - use good quality stuff like DSTE or Wahabi for $ 6 to 9. PESO: Highveld to Lowveld
A scene looking W from Crystal Springs at about 5000' to the Mantsibi Dam at about 2000'. This area used to be part of the Crystal Springs Game Park but the property was sub-divided & sold off last year. The area around the dam was used to breed a nucleus herd of TB-free Buffalos about 15 years ago. They were subsequently moved to the Cape.
