Re: PESO: The Toad in the Night

2017-09-03 Thread Daniel J. Matyola
Thanks, Paul.

I was quite interested in seeing how well my K-5 could pick up the critter
in the dark. It was after 1:00 AM
on an overcast, rainy night, so I am quite pleased at how the camera
performed.

Thanks, Larry.

I was not trying to be poetic. "Just the facts."

Nice photo, but free verse poetry doesn't really work for me.

PESO: The Toad in the Night

2017-09-03 Thread Daniel J. Matyola
It was a dark and rainy night.
I was out walking the dog before going to bed.
I was carrying a flashlight to keep an eye on Bandit and to watch where I
stepped.
Suddenly, on the bricks of the front walk, I encountered a fairly large
toad.
He accommodated me by waiting there while I grabbed my camera.
Although I could not really see him, my camera was able to focus somewhat
in the dark, and my built-in flash illuminated him enough to grab a quick
image.

Beautiful shade of blue sky and being
reflected by the water.
Reminds me of the wonderful trout
fishing I've read about in New
Zealand.
Nice, David!
