Re: PESO - Vacant Summer Houses
I think it was a good idea :-) I like the first for for the intentional symmetry, color and light, and its appeal as a palce it would be nice to vacation.. it looks uninhabited for the moment only. The third and fourth photos have a look of not just empty but abandoned, not cared for, which put them in a category of stuff I like to shoot :-) And I especially like the story that is there in the 4th - the tree cleverly working it's way around the house. The second one is least interesting.looks like it would work better in BW.. my 2 cents ann On 3/4/2019 12:32 PM, Bulent Celasun wrote: I have turned by back to the sea to photograph these. Those look like pretty substantial houses, Bulent. Do some people live there all the year round? BTW, were you worried about a Tsunami? My website was on web-options.com. I have transferred it to https://polvareda.net, although I tend to use it only to post from bicycle tours, and I might stop even that and just use LR or Instagram. Doug, web-options.com disappeared before I could unsubscribe the p...@web-options.com account. This means that I can't receive the unsubscribe confirmation email to click 'n' confirm. Therefore, if you haven't already done so, could you please get medieval on its ass? Otherwise it will forever bounce all the pdml emails. Thank you. Ciao. Re: March PUG is up
It's a very interesting gallery this month, with quality work. My favorites, in order of preference, are: Paul Sorenson's Apple Blossom. Just a perfect composition, with pleasing bokeh. The red bugs really jump out at the viewer. Bruce Walker's Dynamite. A startling and eye-catching image, with pleasing, neon-like colors. Very nice subject, adeptly displayed. Henk Terhell's Tandem Flight . This image confused me at first glance, but the more I studied it, the more I liked it. It is an amazing capture, very deftly rendered.
