Excellent gallery. All are great. I have a weak spot for dragonflies
and this one in particular :)
Once again I missed the deadline.

Would it be an idea to have high res photos? If possible with the
PhotoSwipe viewer. The galleries are always high quality, 800px
reduces the viewing pleasure a little.

Fantastic gallery!  Henk’s Natural Nanomaterial is amazing!  I really liked 
Ann’s Red and White as well!  I love textile art exhibitions!  The detail in 
all the photos is wonderful—some subtle, some bold, but all enjoyable!

Audubon Magazine, or on any online collection.  It has it all:  color
symmetry, texture, composition, mystery, and sheer beauty.  Simply
Astonishing!

As some of you have heard, the Nobel Prize was given this year 
for discoveries in astrophysics. Among the winners is Sir Roger Penrose - 
for black holes (here is the summary:

Here is a photo of him (on the right) that I took 10 years ago, in the 
newly built physics institute building with the foyer that has so-called 
"Penrose tile" on the floor:

thank you Dan. really appreciate it. this is the beginning of the new
season as far as birding is concerned, all the harriers and migrants
have started coming here and it is nice to get out in the open fields
after the gloom of the past few months, though it is not over by any
stretch of the imagination.
