GESO (5) - Woodlands Cemetery

The weather is messed up. The maple tree in front of our house has early leaf 
buds, and I decided to take the camera for a walk in Woodlands Cemetery to see 
what other signs of (very) premature spring there were.

So far, there isn’t much spring-like apart from the green grass and the weeping 
willow in the first pic, which also has leaf buds about two months early.

I had a good wander, though. The cemetery was established in 1840, and many of 
the markers show their age.

I also much prefer looking at stills as stills.  I despise video presentations 
of pretty much everything that doesn’t *need* to be video.
So, please if you have a flickr album, please also post that link at the start.

The new camera seems to be quite technically capable.

thank you Alan. i thought most of them were a drab grey or brown... except
for the blue ones of course. and the red ones :)

yes, i have moved from the east to the west coast, nearer to the western
ghats (just an hour away by bike), a biodiversity hotspot. it is also a
little colder and, after 8 months, am just getting used to the relatively
colder mornings and nights...
