Dan, do you perhaps know which species it is & its country of origin?

43" IPS monitor deal

2023-05-02 Thread Larry Colen
I was looking for a large IPS monitor last week, I found this deal:
https://www.amazon.com/LG-43UN700-B-Display-Type-C-inputs/dp/B0821WWXV6/ref=sr_1_1?crid=31X9J0UC5C5KR=lg43un700-b=A2L77EE7U53NWQ=1683078926=warehouse-deals=lg43un%2Cwarehouse-deals%2C170=8-1

They say they have cosmetic damage to the front bezel, I didn't notice
anything, they are going for $407 rather than $654 regular price.

43" IPS 3840 x 2160

LG 43UN700-B 43 Inch Class UHD (3840 X 2160) IPS Display with USB Type-C and
HDR10, 4 HDMI inputs, Black

I only had time for barely more than a smoke test, but it seems to be pretty
good, and about as big as my two 32" monitors, one horizontal one vertical.

2 left in stock.

Re: PESO: One More Tree #2

2023-05-02 Thread Daniel J. Matyola
Unfortunately, I do not know its dimensions. It certainly stands out from
all the other trees on that part of Haleakala, but it does not compare with
the redwoods and sequoias of California. It was about as tall as
the eucalyptus trees in the national park.
