If you copy the catalog to another drive you should be able to point Lightroom at that catalog and have your edits. Also Lightroom saves backups of the catalog, where are they? What about the catalog on your backup drive? You can also import one catalog into another? The days are getting shorter and the weather's getting colder, and the bellbirds are coming down from their breeding sites in the hills. Here's one I photographed the other day in the banskia tree in our back yard. It's not the greatest of photos but it's the best of the ones I took.
