I can't remember exactly how much I paiid for my first Pentax (SP II + 
50mm/f1.4) in 1972,
but I'm pretty sure I paid significantly more than that.

Thanks Ann!

It was warm and sunny here today (about 80-82° at peak) but dry as a bone and a 
bit windy, so I didn't feel it at all on my walk. I didn't carry a camera ... 
spent the walk listening to another book on physics and cosmology by Carlo 
Rovelli. ;)

Interesting. Not my cup of tea, but I'm so far outside the intended
demographic I might as well be in orbit. At first I thought the
portrait mode framing was odd, but then I remembered this camera is
being targeted at an audience who regards that as default because
they've grown up on smartphone cameras.
