GESO: Winterthur
Went for an hours walk around the Winterthur Estate ( ex DuPont Mansion, now a museum). The estate is 900 acres with it's own zip code, fire station, post office, train station (now a residence)and obsolete sawmill and quarry. The main house is 175 rooms and the cottage (about a 100 meters from the main house) is 40 rooms. The azaleas are in bloom in in wooded area of about 15 acres. https://ptstevens.myportfolio.com -- Peter Stevens 1115 Oakland Ct. Re: Why we are not posting
The reason that I am not posting is that my camera and I have a difference of opinion. My camera is irritated because it believes that it not operated by a highly competent and technically knowledgeable photographer. I am irritated that in spite of what my camera believes, every photo I shoot should result in a glorious work of art. It seldom happens that we can tolerate each other enough to take a photograph. By the way if both the camera and I cooperate and the result is still poor we blame the lens. Some of us have even advanced to the stage of making excuses for not yet having made an excuse for not taking photos. -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to pdml-le...@pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions. -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to pdml-le...@pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
GESO - Hot Air and Wandering Tubadors
She who must be obeyed informed me that we were attending the Balloon Festival Saturday afternoon. So I dutifully grabbed the camera and off we went. An extra $2 allowed entry into the balloon launch area, however any balloons that left the ground were tethered (I think due to Prez Biden being at home making the area a no fly Zone). https://photos.app.goo.gl/8hsRi8NavFYpwHwy6 Be gentle, this my first post of photos and my expectations are similar to Kevin Bacon during pledge night in Animal House. -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to pdml-le...@pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
