SFX question

2002-03-03 Thread weetreefan

Hi. I've recently aquired an SFX with a problem. When
set for single frame advance the camera will fire
anywhere from two to five times at a single shutter
press. I took out the battery, cleaned the contacts and
it worked fine for about seven shots then started multi
firing again. This camera has not been used in a
while. Would changing the battery to a new one help,
the indicator does not show a "low charge" or is afull
CLA in order?
Thanks,
Judy
