No idea how it happened, but I know I was stupid enough to leave the
camera with the battery door open. I'm assuming that I will need the
entire bottom plate replaced. Is there anywhere I can purchase the
part and replace it myself?
This is a BAD time of year for this to happen. I'm guessing I can
still use it, a spring-loaded clip holds the battery in, even with the
door open - and I think I can put the grip on it to make sure it
doesn't drop out.
