How did you get that effect? Yes how. I took the shot in color, but it looked rather blah. Suggestive of monochrome, even. So I fired up NIK Silver Efex Pro (on PS CS2) and tried some of the presets. This one is Solarized (which I used to like to do in my old BW darkroom days). Darren -- Nice work -- I had the same thought as Larry, reading the subject line -- except that I thought there must have been a camera called a L aSalle um then I looked at the photo LOL You must have observed by now that we are a lot of pun crazy photogs I would have guessed the effect was a matter of blowing out the highlights on purpose on what started out as an underexposed , low contrast shot at 1600 or something.
