I do often wonder what people stop photographers for; I would have thought
that anyone wanting to take pictures without being obvious, would have used
a 'phone camera or something equally invisible.

People don't usually bother me. A couple of years ago I took some snaps in
Canary Wharf of the thuggish bouncers on the door of Lehman Brothers, and
they got a bit stroppy with me, but I put a curse on their bank, and look
what happened.

Thanks. Apart from the tallow candles, everything I wrote is true of that
place, at the time I took the picture, earlier today.

Of course, nobody uses tallow now. It's all new-fangled wax, or that
electricity.
