I hear you.  They are tiresome if you have a million of them.  For a
one-of pic, I think it would be a nice idea for a gift for somebody
(of their home for example)

These are very cool.  I was looking through Panotools users blogs and
one of them pointed to this type of effect being created by someone
(who is a Pentax user), but I have no idea how these are created.
Anybody here know?  I'd love to make one of Austin, TX skyline.
