No worries. I'll tell you now instead.
Walt, it is simply a divine lens. Sharp and contrasty, with bokeh that would
make you cry.
It's AF is lighning quick, and there is almost no hunting, even in near
darkness.
It balances beautifully with the K20 body and vertical grip, making shooting an
absolutely
wonderful experience.

It's too bad you can't afford one.

Hope this helps

I thought i might be in the same boat, with a non workin A/C unit this

came by and saved the day, under his warranty, so the lens fund is

I use a very wieldy Sigma 70~300 f4.0/5.6 Apo Macro Super. It's a 35mm
lens of course. The only problem I have is shake in the absence of
enough light. And of course it hunts, like any long auto-focus lens. I
simply can't afford the newer DSLR Pentax lenses but all the SLR lenses
I have perform very well on the *ist D. The auto-bellows A works as
well. As does the Tokina Doubler.

I sent the K10D back in last week, with the da 50, and also asked them

Ned Bunnell has been writing about the 17-70 in his blog, so it looks
like that's coming through the pipelines before the 60-250.

I'd be willing to bet that it will come in August, though.
