Hah. For a day or two I wasn't able to put my hand on my A* 300/2.8, which is a heck of a lot larger. You might think it would be hard to lose track of something like that, but you'd be wrong. For some reason, Friday i felt like putting the 105 on the K10D and see how it would perform. I went to the last known location, and there it was, gone. Well look what turned up, was: Don't you just hate it when............
Found it. For some reason i said to my self, self, look UNDER the dresser the lens was on. So i did. So i found it. Our 2 1/2 year old cat Lucy, likes to push things off of tables chairs etc. I fear she may have done that to the lens. It was in its original case and landed on some other junk behind the dresser, so it looks in good shape. Took it out for a spin. Using M mode and the green button, it likes to under expose about 1 f stop, which is good as i was shooting red flowers and my K10D does not like red flowers, but these look so so under exposed. Re: Don't you just hate it when............
Dave, Just did a frantic search for the 1st copy of the M 35mm f2 lens I have. After going thru everything, I verified that I do still have two copies before I sold one on ebay. Now to stop my wife from setting fire to the pile in the middle of the family room... When she says 'Did all of this come out of there?', you know I'm in trouble. Regards, Bob S.
