Hi Jostein

I just noticed that the GoogleDoc doesn't include UFRaw.

This is mainly a plug-in for The Gimp to allow it to read Raw files but
UFRaw can also be used as a stand-alone program (on both Windows and
Linux).

Like a lot of other raw converters it uses DCRaw. The website indicates
that it supports Pentax cameras other than the latest ones (ie no K200D,
K20D and K100 Super at present - no doubt they'll be added shortly as
DCRaw now supports them).

Splendid, Brian!
Love the UFO design on the webpage... LOL.

Doc updated. And finally got the info on Aperture and the iApples into it too.

Thanks. Both to Brian and to Mark R. and Paul S.

Maybe I'm missing something obvious here, but... how can you squeeze a RAW
file out of an Optio 750Z (reported in UFRaw camera list)? I own a 750Z and
I'd love to use RAW with it too.

Thanks to all who will be able to enlighten me.

That information comes straight from the dcraw web site.

http://www.cybercom.net/~dcoffin/dcraw/

Apparently its possible to hack certain cameras to allow them produce
raw files even though they don't normally output raw. The dcraw website
gives links for some Canon, Minolta, Nikon and Casio cameras but there's
nothing obvious there on the Optio models.

There was some discussion of that here a couple of years ago. I don't
use an Optio so I didn't pay much attention, but you might want to check
the archives.
